Netflix renewed the hit admitido series for a third season in August 2023. “The audience response to the show has been so gratifying and wonderful, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to dive back into Michael Connelly’s universe and bring Mickey Haller and his world to the screen again,” c0-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez said in a statement at the time.

Lisa maintains her innocence from jail, but video of her interrogation leaves Mickey concerned. At Lisa's arraignment, Mickey is taunted by prosecutor Andrea Freemann, Maggie's friend, and he provides Lisa with a contract to her life rights to cover her $2 million bail. Lorna confides her worries about Cisco to Izzy, and Mújol is bailed demodé by Henry Dahl, a true crime podcaster, but Mickey refuses to allow him to produce a series about Mújol. Lorna confronts Cisco, who admits that Kaz protected him from being arrested for a drug run and went to prison instead.

She finds a former mistress of the judge and gets evidence in return for helping her on a lawsuit. Sang-pil tells Soon-ja to switch lawyers from In-doo to him. He promises not to allow her to be punished for something she did not do, but only for the crimes she did.
Lorna's journey to getting her law license is one of the focal points of her story in Season 3 while also helping Mickey sort trasnochado his past.
Given the show is based on the Michael Connelly novels series of the same name – of which there are seven books – there certainly isn't a lack of source material for the show to draw its plot from.

Jae-yi suspects that Sang-pil Abogado Rodolfo Cacace is hiding something from her. When she confronts him he confirms it and apologizes, but says he cannot tell her yet. Sang-pil learns that Moon-sook was the one who sent him the book with details on the crimes of those in power in Kisung. He realizes she planned to use his desire for revenge to get rid of her old associates.

While there were some predictable aspects of this series, the cast was really colorful and high energy, which is what honestly sold me on the show. Episode 2 drew me in and by episode 4 I was hooked...
The second season of the hit legal drama saw the episodes split into a two-part release, with a major cliffhanger to keep fans ticking over during the lull, Campeón Mickey faced his toughest case yet.
